Tortellini...

Still in winter food mood, making sure I ate pasta's, creams, sauces, etc... (I blame the weather). Is there a direct relationship between the outside temperature and appetite?
Midnight snack? yes it was the perfect time for a snack, it was very cold, reality TV was on, why not make something? Tortellini? why not? I just bought some few days ago..



Coming from a country that respects comfort and laziness, we buy our own fresh pasta's. Not that there is anything wrong with making them from scratch, it's just that the available ready made version is really good, so why go through the hassle?...

With an attempt to follow the recipe, it only required melting cheese in cream and milk.The Tortellinis were already stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach. So the sauce was great on its own but (in the future) I wouldn't have it with cheese stuffed pasta.

It was the perfect thing to have at the time, I took this picture the next morning (when I tasted it with a bit of sensibility to realise that the cheese on cheese combo doesn't always work..). To be fair to this recipe, considering you had everything (ready made pasta, cheese, milk, cream) in had, it take less than 10 minutes to make :)
